ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Administration Member Waqar Ahmad heard two cases against the officials, allegedly involved in irregularities and violation of rules and regulation.
The member heard cases of Inland Revenue (IR) officer, Roman Ali Shan (BS-18) and Deputy Superintendent Malik Abid Hussain. He heard the cases separately and recorded their statements.
The department concerned has forwarded the inquiry report against Roman Ali Shah to the Administration member for further action. However, no any penalty has been imposed on the officer so far, as the case hearing is underway.
On the other hand, the deputy superintendent who is facing the charges of major penalty has filed an appeal before the member for review.
