Faisalabad Customs Appraisement collects Rs 4.584b in 8 months

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement has collected around Rs 4.584 billion against a target of Rs 4.768 billion during the first eight months of the current fiscal year.

As per detail, it collected Rs 878.64 million under the head of customs duty against the set target of Rs 1636.96 million and achieved its target by 54 percent only.

Under the head of sales tax, the Faisalabad Customs Appraisement collected Rs 3508.935 million against the target of Rs 2820.66j million. It surpassed its target by 124 percent during the said period.

Furthermore, it collected Rs 169.124 million against Rs 274.36 million under the head of income tax by achieving its target up to 62 percent. It also generated Rs 27.86 million against Rs 36.68 million under the head of federal excise duty during the said period.
