Businessmen to meet customs authorities on fur trimming issue

KARACHI: Asif Rahim, the general secretary of the Pakistan Leather Manufacturers and Export Association, has said that “a delegation of the association will meet the customs authorities to apprise them of their problems.”

Asif Rahim told Customs today, “The customs authorities are not allowing them to export fur trimming products such as long coats and jackets. He said that India and China will fulfil the demand of the international market if Pakistani exporters are not allowed to use fur in export-oriented products.
