Customs intelligence seizes Rs 4 million smuggled goods

LAHORE: The Customs intelligence and investigation has seized smuggled goods from different areas of Lahore.

The goods include cigarettes, tyres, ceramic tiles and cloth worth Rs 4 million.

According to Customs officials, they checked a bus coming from Multan was checked on Multan Road check post and seized the smuggled goods.

Separately, a truck coming from Quetta was checked on Multan Road and Iranian ceramic tiles were seized. The truck was also impounded.

In another incident, a truck coming from Sadiqabad was held in Badami Bagh area and smuggled tyres were seized.
