FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Saima Aftab has issued a show cause notice to a suspect involved in tax evasion amounting to Rs 2.471 million.
The additional collector served notice on accused party through Anti-Smuggling Organization, Faisalabad.
As per details, the Faisalabad ASO had made a case against Iyaz Hussain following the charges of foreign origin tea smuggling. The accused had brought the tea into country without the payment of leviable duty/taxes.
The ASO team after seizing the tea made a case against him and sent to Customs Adjudication for further legal action.
