Quetta Customs Intelligence seizes 120kg charas, 50 wheel frames

KARACHI: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation while foiling a smuggling bid has seized 120 kilogram of charas and 50 pieces of wheel frames worth Rs 12.5 million in Quetta.

Quetta Customs Intelligence Director Iqbal Bhawan following credible information formed a team to foil smuggling attempts in the region. The team intercepted a Toyota Corolla at Chaman Road and searched it.

The team while searching recovered a huge quantity of charas which was concealed in sacks of black peas and also recovered 50 wheel frames.

The officials seized the items and registered a case against two alleged smuggler under customs laws. The teams also arrested two people during the raid.
