PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved 35 development projects with an estimated cost of Rs54,933.733 million (about Rs 55 billion).
The projects were approved during the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan.
The meeting was attended by its members and respective administrative secretaries. The forum considered 42 projects pertaining to different sectors including energy & power, irrigation, elementary & secondary education, higher education, sports & tourism, finance, local government, law & justice, housing, health, social welfare, DWSS, roads & bridges, urban development and industries departments for the uplift of the province.
