Customs Intelligence impounds truck worth Rs 4.5m

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation registered one case and impounded smuggled truck worth Rs 4.5 during first week of March, 2016.

Following the instructions of Additional Director Azmat Tahira, the Customs Intelligence impounded a Hino Truck bearing Registration No. GZR-1313, which was brought into country without payment of leviable duty/taxes, as the accused person namely as Muhammad Ilyas remained failed to prove the legal import of the vehicle.
