RTO-III collects Rs 19,324m in first 10 days of March

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-III collected a revenue of Rs 19324 million during the first 10 days of the current month.

Sources informed Customs Today that thee RTO-III collected Rs 18374 million under the head of income tax, Rs 934 million collected as sales while Rs 16 million were collected as federal excise duty.

It is pertinent to mention here that RTO-III generated a revenue of Rs 86366 million during the month of February, from which Rs 83563 million were collected as income tax, Rs 2533 million were collected as sales, while Rs 270 million were collected as federal excise duty. Sources said that Rs 85502 million were collected in the month of January, 2016.
