ISLAMABAD: Aziz-ur-Rehman, Inspector (BS-16), posted at Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar, has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him.
The disciplinary proceedings, under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973 were initiated against the accused officer, while Adeem Khan, Deputy Collector (BS-18), Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar, was appointed as inquiry officer.
According to the inquiry report, the charges levelled against the accused officer were not established. The authorised officer/Chief (Management-Customs) FBR acquitted/exonerated the officer from the charges levelled against him. He is reinstated into the government service from the date of his suspension i.e. December 03, 2015 onwards and his period of suspension is treated as having been spent on duty.
