Federal Service Tribunal will hear 20 cases filed by FBR employees on Monday

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal will hear over 20 cases on Monday next filed by employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The appellants had approached the FST, seeking relief pertaining to their promotion at department, regularization and seniority matters.

A division bench of the FST comprising of members, Dr Nazir Saeed and Muhammad Javed Kasi, would hear promotion matters filed by Mirza Hashmat Mehdi, Zulifqar Ahmed, Ayws Irfan Haidar, Farooq Haidar, Muhammad Whaeed, Abdul Qadir, Javed Khan, Zaka ur Rehman, Ejaz Ahmed, Muhammad Zubair ul Aleem, Naseer Ahmed, Fida Hussnain, Zahid Hussain, Amir Shahzad and Shahzad Ali. The bench would also hear cases of Abdul Jabbar and Sarfraz Ahmed who had approached the tribunal for “recalling of order”.

Another bench of the FST, comprising of Members, Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Syed Rafique Hussain Shah, would hear seniority matter filed by Aleem Ahmed, counting of previous service matters filed by Gulzar Shah, regularization and dismissal matters filed by Farukh Abbas and Muhammad Arif Anis respectively. The department had not filed any objection about three last cases.

Meanwhile, FST Division Bench comprising of Dr Nazir Saeed and Ishtiaq Ahmed adjourned hearing of cases filed by Muhammad Shoukat and Muhammad Zulifqar. The appellant, Muhammad Shoukat had filed a review petition pertaining to FST previous order and had sought implementation on his promotion directions.
