Additional Collector Beelam Ramzan of Faisalabad Adjudication adjourns 11 smuggling cases

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Beelam Ramzan has adjourned cases pertaining to 11 smuggling attempts and involving Rs 16.29 million until June 25.

The additional collector heard different seizure cases made by the Faisalabad Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) of Faisalabad, Sargodha and Mianwali, and Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement.

She also directed the owners of the seized items and their lawyers to present their arguments in the cases during the next hearing.

It may be mentioned here that the Customs Appraisement has filed two cases involving Rs 1.512 million, Sargodha ASO submitted four cases worth Rs 6.237 million, Mianwali ASO referred three cases involving Rs 44.98 million, while other cases were filed by Customs Intelligence for further legal action.
