Chiniot Excise motor branch collects Rs 21m during 8 months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation’s Motor Registration Authority collected Rs 21.931 million during first eight months (July-February) of current fiscal year 2015-16 from Chiniot region.

According to the details, the department collected Rs 1.905 million in wake of toke tax non-tie up from the said region, while collecting Rs 6.632 million as token tax tie up during the said period. Similarly, the motor tax branch collected Rs 6.979 million as token tax tie up (Deptt).

Meanwhile, it collected Rs 5.443 million as registration fee, Rs 778,000 in wake of transfer fee and Rs 195,000 under the head of life time toke during first eight months of current fiscal year.

It is important to mention here that the Chiniot Motor Registration Authority has achieved its annual target of Rs 32.494 million up to 67 percent.
