RTO-III collects Rs 55,321m during first 20 days of March

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-III (RTO-III) has collected Rs 55,321 million during the first 20 days of the current month.

Sources informed Customs Today that the RTO-III collected Rs 53,189 million under the head of income tax, Rs 1923 million as sales tax and Rs 209 million under the head of federal excise duty. Sources said that during the month of February, the RTO-III collected Rs 53,410 million in first 20 days of February from which Rs 51,340 million were collected as income tax, Rs 1,880 million as sales tax and Rs 190 million under the head of federal excise duty.
