LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a notice to Large Tax Payers Unit Commissioner Zulqarnain Tirmzi and sought a reply from him on March 30.
According to details, a two-member bench headed by Justice Khalid Mehmood conducted the hearing of the case filed against the commissioner of the Large Tax Payers Unit. The counsel for the appellant, Shafqat Mehmood Chohan, prayed before the court that the LTU commissioner announced his verdict without allowing his client an opportunity to explain his position which is totally contempt of court.
He prayed to the court to start contempt of court proceedings against the commissioner. After listening to the arguments, the court issued notice to Zulqarnain Tirmizi and sought the reply on March 30.
