Multan ASO generates Rs 8.20m through auction of vehicles, goods‏

MULTAN: Multan Customs anti-smuggling organization (ASO) has generated Rs 8.20 million through the auction of confiscated vehicles and other goods.

The auction was held at Customs House for open public sale . The main attraction of the auction was confiscated vehicles which were presented for the public sale. Multan Customs offered 10 vehicles including four Toyota Fielders, two Honda Civic, Toyota Land Cruiser (without engine ), Toyota Vitz and Toyota Hilux Surf for auction. The Customs Rs 7.24 million from the auction of eight vehicles.

One vehicles was not auctioned due to fewer price offer and one vehicles was failed to get any bid in the auction process. Toyota Fielder of Model 2005 got higher auctioned bid of Rs1.12 million during the auction.  A large number of participants have participated in the auction to offer bids in the auction.

Customs have auctioned miscellaneous goods in public sale of Rs 880,000, including tyres, auto parts during auction. Large number of miscellaneous goods including electronics goods ,cell phones, not auctioned due to absence of authorized companies in the auction.

However Customs have auctioned the goods and vehicles in Rs.8.20 million during the auction .Deputy Collector Abdul Mueed Kanjoo have supervised the whole auction to ensure its transparency.
