Sources informed Customs Today that on the information, the staff of customs Intelligence intercepted a bus bearing registration number LES-07-8538 at Babu Sabu interchange which was coming from Peshawar.

During the checking process, the Customs team found a huge quantity of foreign origin goods. The driver and conductor of the bus, who were later identified as Altaf Husain and Ali Mohammad, failed to produce legal documents regarding the possession of these items.

After hearing the arguments from both parties, Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti decided the case with the remarks to modify previous order and directed to release the goods with penalty of Rs 50,000 to the lawful owner.
