Customs Appraisement West re-distributes work among deputy, assistant collectors

KARACHI: Customs Collectorate Appraisement West has re-distributed work among assistant and deputy collectors with immediate effect and until further orders.

According to a notification issued by Additional Collector-I Zeba Azhar, Deputy Collector Syed Babar Ali Shah will look after Group-II (Ch 28-38), Recoveries, WeBOC role for printing cheques, DC level adjudication and adjudication of Afghan Transit Legacy cases.

Deputy Collector Mahmoodur Rehman Khattak will look into the Group-III (Ch 39-49), Audits (external and internal).

Deputy Collector Muhammad Aftab will look after Group-IV (Ch 50-70), import section, temporary imports, transshipments, pre-audit.

Deputy Collector Muhammad Shahzad Khan to look after Group-V (Ch 71-83), DC refund (on note sheet), bonded warehouses (public/private), FTA Cell, ADRC and licensing.

Deputy Collector Ms Lubna Shamshad assigned AICT & BOML (examination and auction), inter port movement and Federal Tax Ombudsman.

Assistant Collector Umair Mahmood SIddiqui to look after West Wharf (examinations and auction), coordination with KPT and terminal operators.
