Sources said that the seized items include non-duty paid vehicle used for transportation and were brought into country without payments of customs duty and taxes, smuggled cloth, auto spare parts, electronic goods and others miscellaneous goods.

The accused persons failed to produce any legal documents regarding possession of smuggled items. The Faisalabad anti smuggling organization team seized the articles and registered separate cases of smuggling against accused persons. The Collector Zulfiqar Chaudhary appreciated the performance of the ASO teams which foiled various smuggled bids in the region.
