LAHORE: The Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling on Thursday heard 13 important cases and issued necessary directions as well.
According to details, the customs court heard two pre-arrest bail pleas, including Muhammad Abdullah and Ghulam Mustafa. The court adjourned the hearing of pleas until the next dates.
The customs court also asked investigation authorities to complete investigation challan of a suspect, Humayon Rahseed.
According to details, Humayon Rasheed was arrested by the Customs Intelligence in a case of smuggling. Accused already granted bail from the court after his two months judicial remand.
Humayon Rahseed was arrested in smuggling of different items from Afghanistan through Balochistan and KPK. Customs had also recovered smuggled goods worth Rs 6 million from his possession.
