KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate Appraisement East has issued a contravention report against M/s Aftab Engineering on import of cranes.
Sources told Customs Today that M/s Aftab Engineering had imported various consignments of cranes claiming benefits of certain SROs. However, the claimed benefits were for the sugar mills and spinning industry.
The authorities have prepared the contravention report and called upon the importer to appear personally to justify their claims, or else pay off the short-paid taxes and duties.
