Customs staff extending full cooperation to exporters: SDPT Chaimran Khawar Anwar

SIALKOT: Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) Chairman Khawar Anwar Khawaja has said that the government has paid rebate refund to exporters up to Rs 5 million and it is very appreciable decision of the government.

Talking to Customs Today Khawaja said the government should pay rebate refund of over Rs 5 million to others exporters also. He said that the officials of Customs Sialkot are very cooperative and Collector Ahmed Reza is friendly officer.

He said that exporters do not feel any hardship for their export consignments. He said that Collector Customs take keen interest in clearing genuine export consignments rather he has instructed his subordinate staff to extend full cooperation to exporters. He said that the customs staff designated at Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) are performing their duties very honestly and devotedly.

He said that Sialkot is earning US$ 2 billion dollar per annum on behalf of export with best co-operation of Custom officials. He said that exporters of SME’s are also ready to increase their export because Customs officials are encouraging the SME’s exporters. He said that we thanks government because honest staff is performing duty at Model Customs House Sialkot.
