RTO collects Rs 57,823 million in March

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) has collected a revenue of Rs 57,823 million March 2016.

Sources informed Customs Today that the RTO-I collected an amount of Rs 54,909 under the head of income tax, Rs 2,865 million as sales tax and Rs 49 million as federal excise duty. It is pertinent to mention here that during the month of February, the RTO-I collected Rs 56,240 million from which Rs 53,631 million were collected as income tax, Rs 2,562 million were collected as sales tax and Rs 47 million as federal excise duty.
