ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Management Chief Dr. Shahab Ahmad has issued directions to complete the performance evaluation reports of BS-17 and above scales officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) Pakistan Customs and ex-cader by July 20 and sent to ERM-I section until July 31.
The chief said that stern actions will be taken against the officers concerned on not sending the reports timely.
The management chief send a letter to FBR members, RTOs, LTUs chief commissioner, customs chief collectors, PCA director general, IR commissioners, customs collectors, adjudication collector, appeals commissioner and collectors stating that performance report of BS-17 and above scale officers is necessary for departmental promotions, attending training courses for promotions and for deputation in other departments.
It further added that the performance evaluations report of many officers is incomplete, despite issuing many reminders to them.
Taking it seriously of it, the board has decided to initiate inquiry against the persons those are not sending reports under the charges of violation of rules and regulations.
