Since the beginning of 2015/16 MY barley exports reached 3599 KMT compared to 3744.4 KMT during the same period in season 2014/15.

UkrAgroConsult estimates, that barley export capacity has been implemented by 86%. We expect 20% exports reduction in the current season in comparison with season 2014/15 due to decrease of barley production in Russia in 2015.

Egypt stands out among other importers. Since the beginning of 2015/16 MY Egypt imported nearly 100% more Russian barley than during the whole last season – 59 KMT compared to 30 KMT in 2014/15 MY.
