Ministry of Finance amends SRO 57(I)/2016 with immediate effect

KARACHI: The Federal Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs, Revenue Division has made amendments in SRO57 (I) /2016.

According to the notification, the federal government has directed that the further amendments shall be made in SRO 57(I)/2016 with immediate effect.

According to details, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Clause(b) of the sub-section (6) of the Section 3 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990.

In the notification, the following existing table shall be substituted: Motor spirit excluding HOBC having PCT Heading 2710.1210; HOBC having PCT Heading 2710.1210; kerosene oil having PCT Heading 2710.1911; high speed diesel oil having PCT Heading 2710.1931 and light diesel oil having PCT Heading 2710.1921.

The said notification shall be applicable on and from 1-April, 2016.
