FAISALABAD: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has recovered smuggled goods worth Rs 3 million during the last seven days of March.
Sources informed Customs Today that customs teams intercepted various vehicles during general hold-up and seized one Toyota Fielder which was brought into the country without the payment of customs duty. The same team also seized a non-customs paid Honda Civic while another team recovered a non-duty paid Nissan Petrol.
The Customs authorities after seizing the vehicles forwarded the cases to the customs adjudication for further proceedings.
