Faisalabad Customs recovers smuggled goods worth Rs 12.5m in March

FAISALABAD: The Customs authorities have recovered smuggled goods worth Rs 12.5 millions during the month of March in various crackdowns.

Sources informed Customs Today that Additional Collector Azmat Tahira received information about some smuggling attempts. She constituted various teams and also ordered to enhance surveillance in the area. During the general hold-ups, the customs teams seizes non-duty paid vehicles, Indian black tea, art silk cloth and other goods.
