Collector Exports Saifuddin Junejo seeks budget proposals for FY2016-17

KARACHI: The Collector of Customs Collectorate-Customs Exports Dr Saifuddin Junejo has asked the Collectorate to prepare the recommendations/proposals for the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2016-17, it is learnt here.

The sources informed Customs Today that the Collector-Customs Export Dr Saifuddin Junejo, during the meeting, called the officers of the Collectorate to initiate working on preparing the budget proposals for the FY2016-17.

The sources further informed Customs Today that the Collector Export further asked the officers to complete the proposals in this regard and submit in the office of the collector by the end of current month.

Responding to a query, the sources said that the authorities concerned of the Collectorate would recommends amendments in Export Policy-2013.

The sources further said that the Deputy Collector Wasif Malik would look after the developments which would be made in preparing the budget proposals for the upcoming budget.

Responding to another query, the sources further said that the authorities concerned of the Customs Export would submit the budget proposals after finalizing before the Federal Board of Revenue-FBR in the month of May-2016.
