ISLAMABAD: Ali Muhammad, Inspector (BS-16), Model Customs Collectorate, Islamabad, has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him.
As per details, the disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the accused officer under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973. PCA Additional Director Malik Kamran Azam Khan was appointed as inquiry officer to investigate the charges levelled against Ali.
According to the inquiry report, the charges levelled against the accused officer were not established. The authorized officer/Chief (Management-Customs) FBR, acquitted and exonerated Ali Muhammad from the charges levelled against him. He was reinstated into the government service from the date of his suspension ie December 28, 2015 onwards and his period of suspension was treated as on duty.
