IHC seeks reply from LTU in tax reference filed by PTPL

ISLAMABAD: Justice Aamer Farooq of of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday directed to issue notice to Large Taxpayers’ Unit (LTU) while hearing a case filed by Pakistan Telecommunication (Private) Limited.

Justice Aamer directed the LTU officers to submit their reply before the court in the tax reference complaining about department’s order about outstanding tax recovery.

Meanwhile, the court also disposed of two tax references filed against Assistant Commissioner IR, by Taj Muhammad, Proprietor of M/s Taj Muhammad Real Estate. Other disposed of case was filed against LTU officers by Pakistan Telecommunication (Private) Limited.
