The Customs Collactorate Appraisement West and Customs Collactorate Appraisement East have already lodged more than 30 FIRs against M/s AMI Pakistan while Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Customs has also lodged one FIR against the company.

Source informed Customs Today that the case may take time as the mega corruption cannot be held without the involvement of the other senior officials of the Marine Group, in the light of the investigation by the former CEO of M/s AMI Pakistan (Private) Limited and other held in the case. The customs authority may raid different places and nab more suspects involved in the same case.

On the other hand, the transfer and posting of the officials connected to the case have affected the investigations whereas the new officers may take time to continue the case after understanding the entire arrest made and investigations held so far, source added.
