Custom confiscates smuggled goods worth  Rs 22.4m in nine months

FAISALABAD: The customs intelligence and investigation registered 101 smuggling cases and confiscated smuggled goods amounting to Rs 22.4 million during nine month of the current fiscal year.

Sources told Customs Today that Additional Director Azmat Tahira formed various anti-smuggling teams which intercepted various vehicles and recovered smuggled goods. These items include non duty paid vehicles, auto parts, polyester fabrics, cloth, and others miscellaneous smuggled goods.
