ICCI congratulates Khalid Javed for being elected as chairman of Founder’s Group‏

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry  (ICCI), led by its president Atif Ikram Sheikh, visited M/s Ittehad Steel to congratulate Khalid Javed on being elected as chairman of Founder’s Group for the year 2016-17. Sheikh Tariq Sadiq, Zubair Ahmed Malik, Mian Akram Farid, Mian Shaukat Masud, Khalid Iqbal Malik, Zafar Bakhtawari, Sheikh Aamir Waheed, Tahir Ayub, Khalid Chaudhry, Mahmood Ahmed Warraich, Khalid Mian, Babar Chaudhry, Salahuddin Awan and others were included in the delegation.

Khalid Javed is a renowned local industrialist and represents M/s Ittehad Steel Industries as its owner. He is also former president of the ICCI. Exchanging views with the delegation members, Khalid Javed said that he would try to use this platform to further strengthen unity among the local business community on key issues. He assured that he would support ICCI in its efforts aimed at serving the cause of business community.

Speaking at the occasion, Atif Ikram Sheikh, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Khalid Javed was an experienced business leader and hoped that he would deliver up to the expectations of his constituents. He said that many issues of the local business community related to CDA, FBR, IESCO, SNGPL, local administration and others needed urgent attention of these departments to facilitate the growth of business activities.
