Additional Collector Fayyaz Anwar issues ONO for confiscation of Toyota Hilux Surf‏

MULTAN: Additional Collector Adjudication Fayyaz Anwar has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) for confiscation of seized vehicle.

Sources informed Customs Today that Customs  Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) has intercepted a Toyota Hilux Surf for being non-customs paid in the month of December 2015.  During the chemical examination of the vehicle bearing registration number of WAG-721 /Quetta, it was revealed that its chassis frame was tampered.

The Customs Additional Collector Adjudication ordered to confiscate the vehicle after the owner, Khaild Riaz son of Muhammad Buksh, a resident of Jhang, failed to prove its legal ownership.

The owner has also admitted the facts of the forensic reports carried out for the verification of the seized vehicle.

The Customs Adjudication issued Order-in-Original (ONO) for the confiscation of the vehicles after the laboratory examination following the clause 156 (1)89 of the Customs Act 1969.
