Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 925m as property tax

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 925.384 million in the wake of property tax from July to March of the current fiscal year and achieved the annual target of up to 71 percent.

The department collected Rs 803.525 million as property tax from Faisalabad during the said period. It has achieved yearly target of Rs 1,113.7 million up to 72 percent.

Similarly, it has collected Rs 36.4 million from Jhang against the assigned target of Rs 56.704 million for the year and it has achieved its target up to 64 percent.

From Chiniot, it has generated Rs 37.153million in wake of property tax by achieving its target of Rs 57.438 million up to 65 percent.

The Toba Tek Singh region has been assigned Rs 72.973 million target for the running year, while it has collected Rs 48.306 million by achieving the target up to 66 percent.
