Dubai Customs shined at DIGAE with ground-breaking initiatives

DUBAI: Dubai Customs has wrapped up  its exceling participation at the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition (DIGAE) 2016. Its stand attracted crowds of exhibition-goers from government leaders, VIPs and decision makers flocked to the Dubai Customs pavilion at the 3-day fair, which was held at the World Trade Centre, under an eloquent motto ‘Local Governments, Global Achievements’.

Top government officials spoke highly of the ground-breaking smart initiatives introduced by Dubai Customs at the show. HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Georgian Prime Minister, Abdulla Al Shaibani, Dubai Executive Council Secretary-General and Chairman of DGEP, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, were all smiles as they watched the top-notch projects brought on display by Dubai Customs at the DIGAE 2016.

Moreover, Dr Ahmed Al Nuseirat, General Coordinator at Dubai Government Excellence Program, and Humid Al Qatami, Chairman and Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, praised Dubai Customs for its steadfast effort and significant contributions to serving the UAE and establishing a solid national economy based on legitimate trade.
