APTEA urges Finance Ministry to release fixed allowance

LAHORE: All Pakistan Tax Employees Association (APTEA) has urged the Ministry of Finance, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to ensure fixed allowance to the employees. The allowance was announced by the Ministry of Finance in January.

The chairman of All Pakistan Tax Employees Association said that the government had announced fixed allowance for the FBR employees in January but after the passage of three months, the FBR did not issue any notification in this regard.

The FBR employees are disappointed due to delay in approval of the fixed allowance.

APTEA office-bears said they pursued member policies Rahmat Ullah Wazir and chief commissioner Large Taxpayer Unit Chudhary Shafdar Hussain regarding fix allowance but despite remining them the situation is still the same.

It pertaining to mentioned here that Chairman FBR was sent notice to the ministry of finance at 14 January 2016 to approve the fix allowance for the employees.
