LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has frozen the bank accounts of Sui Gas Housing Society. The company is allegedly involved in evasion federal excise duty amounting to Rs 40 million.
Sources informed Customs Today that the RTO issued many notices to the company for the payment of tax liability. Sources said that despite issuing of several tax notices, the Sui Gas Housing Society failed to clear outstanding dues after which the RTO froze their bank accounts until the further orders.
