Tajik envoy takes keen interest in importing surgical items from Pakistan

SIALKOT: Ambassador of Tajikistan in Pakistan Sher Ali Jononov has said that he will make all out efforts to import surgical instruments from Sialkot instead of purchasing these surgical instruments from the other countries at high prices.

Talking to the leading surgical instruments manufacturers and exporters, the Tajikistan ambassador also stressed the need for strengthening of bilateral trade relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan. He expressed keen interest in import of surgical items direct from Sialkot.

Sher Ali Jononov revealed that the both sides are sincere and determined to improve relations in all fields that hopefully would lead the relationships towards growth and expansion bringing progress and prosperity in the two countries.

To make progress in this regards, Tajikistan ambassador suggested for the active engagements of the Tajik and Pakistani chambers, which could act as resource base for exchanging information. Exchange of trade delegations and holding of joint trade exhibitions would also help in promoting bilateral trade, he added.

He said that the Tajikistan is keen to develop the strengthened bilateral trade relations with Pakistan. He invited the surgical exporters to visit Tajikistan to organize trade exhibitions
