Quetta Customs Intelligence seizes cameras, watches worth Rs 3.5m

KARACHI: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Quetta, has confiscated a huge quantity of smuggled digital cameras and watches worth Rs 3.5 million during an action.

As per details, a team of the Quetta Customs Intelligence, following secret information, established a checkpoint on Razi Road to check the vehicles. At the check post, the team intercepted a vehicle and checked it thoroughly which led to the recovery of more than 200 digital cameras and watches.

The officials asked the persons concerned to show documents regarding the legal import of the items but they remained failed to do the same.

Therefore, the officials confiscated the items along with the vehicle and also arrested two accused persons.
