KARACHI: The Excise and Taxation Department has indicated that it will start hiring in the last week of December.
Junior and senior clerks will be recruited in the first phase. The Excise and Taxation director had sent a letter to higher authorities three months ago in this regard. Recruitment had been started two months ago but the Sindh High Court gave a stay order and summoned the Sindh chief secretary and Excise and Taxation director. However, hiring is expected in the next month.
