BRASÍLIA: The imports of corn outside of the Mercosur block will have an exemption of the importa taxes for a periof of six months. The measure will be valid only for a volume of one million metric tons due to the current scarcity of domestic corn and the high domestic value of it. Poutry, swine and dairy producers demanded the tax cuts.
