Quetta Customs Intelligence seizes six generators, tea

KARACHI: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized smuggle tea and six heavy duty generators during two raids in Quetta.

The Customs Intelligence received information about smuggling and deployed a team near Shibli. The team established check post to check the vehicles.

The team intercepted a truck and recovered 500 kilogram of tea. The team asked the driver to show documents about customs clearance but he failed to show documents. As a result, the team seized tea and arrested the driver.

Meanwhile, the Customs Intelligence during another action checked another truck and recovered six heavy duty generators, which were seized after the driver could not show documents regarding the customs clearance.
