CM for early completion of development projects

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the public departments to complete the development projects.

The chief minister said while addressing a high level meeting held to review progress in the completion of various development projects in Punjab here yesterday. Provincial ministers, advisors, chief secretary, Planning & Development chairman and secretaries of all provincial departments were present on the occasion.

“No negligence or laxity will be tolerated in timely completion of development projects. Concerned departments are responsible for their completion as such they need to work hard, and build their capacity to meet the target with the spirit of public service,” the CM added.

The CM said that timely, transparent, and quality completion of uplift projects is being ensured. He said projects of education, health, agriculture, potable water and energy are being completed on priority basis so that people could benefit from their fruits as early as possible. He said that full attention has been paid to energy projects and expressed the hope that darkness will be eliminated from the country with the completion of energy projects.

Shehbaz Sharif said that all out steps are being taken for progress and prosperity of the province. He said that service to the people is a form of worship. He said that all out resources are being utilized for the provision of basic facilities to the masses and development projects are being completed speedily in this regard.
