LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) Chief Commissioner Tasneem ur Rehman has ordered commissioners to submit details of current collection and arrears recovery in the chief commissioner office.
Officials said that the commissioners of RTO-I have started working to gather data of current fiscal year 2015-16 following the instruction of the chief commissioner. All the six commissioners of the field formation will present their reports within few days.
The chief has issued these instructions in order to review the performance of the RTO and make the strategies to collect maximum taxes in remaining two months of current fiscal year. The officials informed that all these steps were taken to meet the revenue target assigned by the FBR.
