MULTAN: Customs Adjudication Collector Raja Tahir Majeed adjourned the hearing of two impounded Toyota Coasters until May 2, 2016.
According to the details, the Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) impounded two mini buses bearing registration number LES-15-80 and LES-15-7864 during an action in the Multan city. The vehicles were cleared under the vehicle amnesty scheme of 2001 using forged documents. The value of the both seized vehicles is almost Rs 8 million.
Both vehicles were included in the issued list of 169 imported vehicles, which were brought into country on forged documents.
The Customs Adjudication collector heard the cases and directed the both parties to filed their reply in next hearing for further proceedings.
