FBR seeks suggestions from collectorates to reform Pakistan Customs

SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has sought suggestions from all collectorates to bring reforms within the department to improve its working.

Reportedly, the FBR wrote a letter to all collectors, seeking recommendations in order to bring changes in the department with the start of new fiscal year 2016-17. Officials said that the FBR seeks suggestions every year to provide better facilities to the taxpayers.

They added that all collectors keeping in view the problems faced in field sent suggestions to the FBR Headquarters. The suggestions regarding customs clearance, curb money laundering, smuggling, mis-declaration, etc. were put forward, they added.

The FBR has directed all collectors to sent the suggestions within 15 days of this letter.
