Deputy Collector Khansa orders strict security measures at Customs House

ISLAMABAD: Model Customs Collectorate Deputy Collector Khansa Mahmood has issued a notice to revamp and strengthen security measures at the Customs House.

The notice state that the visitors and guests should be checked thoroughly and no mistake will be tolerated regarding security. The cameras will also monitor all the entrances and exit points of the Custom House.

The deputy collector further said that “Preventive Inspector Arshad Mahmood Butt is hereby ordered to monitor security on fortnightly basis until May 13, 2016 in general shift.”

The notice further showed that the vigilance officer shall ensure the proper monitoring and operation of CCTV cameras provided in his office and installation of CCTV cameras where required. The vigilance officer shall work under the supervision of Preventive Division superintendent, the deputy collector ordered.

The process of monitoring and proper deployment of staff for security must be well ensured, the notice states.
