Customs Court adjourns hearing of 20 cases

KARACHI: The Special Court of Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling on Thursday postponed the hearing of 20 cases as the Special Judge of Customs Court Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi was on leave.

Sources said that the judge was on leave due to which 20 fixed cases were not taken up. Out of these 20 cases, four cases were fixed for confirmation of bail of the accused namely Sajjad Ahmed, Noman Akhter and Noman Abdul Rauf. Four cases were fixed on judgments,  seven for regular hearing and remaining were on prosecution evidences.
